Troubleshooting and FAQ
Why don't the numbers match Snowflake's billing views yet?
Usage views update within minutes. Billing data (METERING_HISTORY) lags by up to 3 hours, so
recent hours can look different depending on the source. The Run billing check button in App
Setup compares the two per service type over complete hours.
Is the spend my invoice amount?
No. Spend in Token Physics is an estimate: credits multiplied by your cost per credit. It is never an invoice amount, so it can differ from what you are billed.
Why does the dashboard show credits but no dollars?
The app needs a cost per credit to estimate spend. It uses your organization's rate sheet when it can read it. When it can't, enter a cost per credit on the app's App Setup page. Until there is a rate from either source, the dashboard shows credits only.
A page warns that a usage source is missing. What now?
The warning names the source the app couldn't read. The app carries on with the other sources, so totals shown on that page leave out the named source. App Setup lists the errors.
How do I report a problem?
Use the support form. For bugs, include the app version and store version, the names of any usage sources that failed, the rate source, and which optional grants are present. Never include usage rows, query text, or user names.
